Hartley House Care Home Cranbrook
Renovation and Extension
We took a tired 1970's care home and renovated and added an extension using spare land around the original footprint. As architects we created internal courtyards specifically designed to allow residents with dementia the freedom to wander in and out of the building whilst remaining safe. All new rooms have en-suite shower rooms that give residents privacy even if they need help.
