Sevenoaks Listed Building Annexe
Contemporary Contrasting Extension to Listed Building
This listed building has a core dating from the 16thC but has been extended since then in the 19thC and 20thC and so any further extension was difficult to design without completely burying the original core.
Our design responds by creating a deliberately modern contemporary contrast at the opposite end to the original historic core.
The idea is to create a very high quality addition that contributes to the overall heritage. The contemporary approach we used was key to obtaining planning and listed building consent.
We hope to start building soon.
