In This Staycation House
We replaced a dilapidated, asbestos-filled bungalow in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Benenden, with a 320m2 (3,400 sq ft) split level modern house design that maximises the opportunities afforded by the sloping site.
The house offers very flexible space over two floors that can be used by one large family or two generations (older children, grandparents}. Ground floor accommodation includes a stunning reception area, fabulous open-plan kitchen/dining/living space with huge sliding glazed doors that open onto level decking and lawns.
Carefully positioned roof lights, glazed partitions and large sliding glazed doors flood the house with natural light. The basement lower ground floor includes a large entertaining or party space, games room, two further bedrooms and a sitting room, bathroom and utility room.
