This house had been extended several times over the years with one extension set at a higher level than the rest and was difficult to live in as a result. The client wanted to improve the internal space planning and make the house more cohesive.

 

Our design created an infill single storey extension that connects all the spaces together and also creates a central Family Dining space that flows out onto the terrace where there are views south across the valley.

We also renewed and insulated the whole roof and re-clad the external walls with external insulation and cladding, both of which reduces heating bills.
