Graveney Pergola House

NPPF Paragraph 79
We are designing a new house located outside the edge of the village. That's hard to get planning consent for, however if the house is of a sufficiently high architectural design quality and very sustainable, it is possible. NPPF 79 refers to a specific paragraph in the National Planning Policy Framework that compliments local policy and if a design meets the stringent tests imposed, consent can be granted for a completely new home in the countryside.
There are very few houses that meet the test each year so it’s a difficult hurdle, but it also sets us a great challenge to rise to.
